Blogging from my car because I can lol
Really, it is because I have escaped my house full of chores, homework, dinner, and kids, to take my youngest to soccer practice. While she is out there learning new things and getting fun healthy exercise...I am sitting in the parking lot alone with my thoughts, which is kind of nice sometimes. I was thinking about how when I tell my dog to sit, she many times just stares at me or ignores me altogether. I tell that same dog to sit while holding a treat in my hand and she sits before I even finish getting the word out of my mouth, hummm?
Actually I can get the dog to do just about anything for a treat!
Am I no better than the dog? What treat has to dangle in my face before I obey? What is in it for me? What is my reward? Am I willing to obey because my master, my Lord has asked me too? Or do my actions say, more reward please!
